My name is Vicki Toliver and I started working in the Sales and Business management field about 20 + years ago always seeking a way to own my own business so I could be free from the restraints a 9 to 5 job offers.

I have overcome many obstacles in my life in the early 1990s I suffered a severe job injury that paralyzed me for 4.5 years after having all the medications and steroids the doctors gave me blow me up to 487 lbs . I was devastated. so from there it was a real journey

I first had my stomach stapled and lost 300 lbs then it was followed by 2 back surgeries and 2 years to learn how to walk again even during these times i was living in a hospital bed training young women how to telemarket from home . people are my passion.

After becoming fully functional in my body my life took a turn I pursued a couple very unhealthy relationships and soon drugs and the street life followed it was many years of suffering before I finally realized that my life had value and that I am truly worthy to be loved having suffered a terribly low self esteem as I am sure you can imagine

But through it all I kept a big dream for my life .my faith in God.and my desire to do many things to help people come out of disastrous situations like the one I was in .

By the grace of God, I am now living a clean and healthy life and I pursue all my dreams now with excellence in the details.

Today, I created a good YouTube Video titled work at home. I wanted to create an interest from my Google reader that happened to be searching for work at home. I did this for a very specific reason. In the first place, the keyword term is searched over 2 million times each month. This tells me that people are indeed, trying to find information concerning starting a home business, or trying to find a work from home business that is highly publicized to join. Its a fact that people are interested in joining or starting a good rock solid work at home business opportunity. As with anything found on Google, there is somewhat of a catch 22 when it comes to finding good information. Often times, those that spend the most money will be found at the top. So, it may just be that some so-called Internet marketing legend has bought their way to that position. That does NOT mean that the work at home business model is right for everyone. Looking for a good business is a tough road, to say the least. The searcher may come across totally ridiculous terms like get rich quick, make money online, get rich in a home based business and other misleading statements. Let us clarify this right here and now.

After having been employed and self-employed, I know for a fact that having a real job is just not for me. I have had the bosses that were jerks, and some good ones as well, but the simple truth of the matter, I hate working for anyone but me and my family. Now known internationally as "the father of telecommuting/teleworking," he founded the management consulting firm, JALA International, Inc., in 1980. He retired from USC in 1989 to devote full time to JALA.

He has developed and/or evaluated telecommuting projects for a variety of Fortune 100 companies, the state governments of California, Arizona and Washington, the city of Los Angeles, and other companies and organizations in the US, Europe, and South America. He is Past President of the International Telework Association & Council (ITAC) and was a member of the Management Group of the European Community Telework/Telematics Forum. In 1993, he received the Environmental Pride Award for his contributions toward improving the air quality of Los Angeles, and in 1994 received an award for his work in environmental sustainability from Renew America.
